Surya Kriya
Hatha Yoga is offered as a set of 21 powerful postures, or yogasanas, to enable the system to sustain higher dimensions of energy.This profound science enhances how one thinks, feels, and experiences life. Isha's program requires no special physical agility or previous experience of yoga. It is not merely physical exercise, but enables a person to flower into his ultimate potential; to naturally achieve a state of health, joy, and bliss. Benefits of Yogasanas Relief of chronic health condition. Stabilization of the body, mind, and energy system. Deceleration of the aging process. Evolution of body and mind towards a higher possibility Yogasanas are not exercises, but rather very subtle processes to manipulate one 's energy in a particular direction.
Surya Kriya activates the solar plexus to raise the samat prana, or solar heat, in the system. It also balances a person's left and right energy channels, leading to stability of the body and stillness of the mind. Surya Shakti is a dynamic 18-posture Isha Hatha Yoga practice designed to boost physical fitness, vigor, and energy levels. By strengthening the musculoskeletal system and improving circulation, it offers benefits like enhanced immunity, toned muscles, balanced hormones, and reduced anxiety. It can be done by beginners to build stamina.
Nadi Shuddhi, an Isha Yoga practice, is a 5-minute yogic breathing technique that cleanses the nadis (pranic energy pathways) to balance the system, reduce stress, and foster mental stability. It promotes emotional balance, enhances concentration, alleviates respiratory/circulatory issues, and connects the breath to calm the mind.
Isha Aum Chanting brings a deep sense of calmness, balance, and stability to the body, mind, and energy system. Regular practice can improve physical health, strengthen immunity, and support mental well-being by reducing fear, anxiety, and attention-related issues. It also enhances focus and clarity while helping one connect with a deeper spiritual dimension through the fundamental cosmic sound of “AUM.”
5. Meditation

Isha Kriya is a 12–18 minute guided meditation designed to bring health, dynamism, and peace by aligning breath, thought, and awareness. Regular practice is proven to reduce stress, anxiety, and negative emotions, while enhancing mental clarity, focus, and overall well-being.

The simplicity and warmth of these traditional pahadi homes make it a perfect space to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature.What Will You Be Eating
Our host, the warm and welcoming local pahadi, Raj Bhaiya, will be serving delicious home-cooked meals with a beautiful blend of North Indian and traditional Himachali flavors. One of his specialties is the much-loved Rajma Pulao, prepared with authentic local rajma known for its rich taste and aroma. Fresh salads, seasonal fruits, nourishing millets, and wholesome sattvic meals will also be a part of the retreat menu, supporting a light, healthy, and energizing yogic experience. On your way back, you can even take home some desi pahadi rajma from the valley as a memory of the mountains.What Will You Be Eating

Program Details
Participants should reach Bir, Himachal on 11 th June 2026 at 10 am. The pick-up point in Bir will be Cloud Door Cafe. We will meet here and leave together for Rajgundha by taxi at 10:30 AM.
There will be an Orientation session at 1:00 pm in Rajgundha (Attendance in this session is mandatory)

Trek to Plachak
Hiking from Rajgundha to Plachak is a treat for the eyes and the soul. This easy hike takes just 2-3 hours one way, making it perfect for beginners or for those looking for a relaxed day out. The trail weaves through a stunning mix of forests and meadows, with the grandeur of the snow-covered Dhauladhar mountains as your constant backdrop. Listen to the soothing rhythm of the Uhl River flowing beside the trail as you journey on. You might even meet local shepherds tending to their flocks of goats and sheep along the way, offering a delightful peek into the local life.
Hanuman Garhi Trek, the name itself optimistically describes the sacredness of the place. Situated in the lap of Dhauladhar Ranges, Hanumangarh is a great place for adventure enthusiasts. Hanumangarh is the summit of the mountain located near Bir Billing. The valley is full of flora and fauna. One can observe a variety of birds and trees here. Hanumangarh, is under the wildlife sanctuary. The place offers a complete 360 view of the Dhauladhar mountain ranges. The Hanumangarh is the tallest mountain peak around and during clear weather, it offers an enormous view of the nearby places such as Badagran, Nalhota, Thati, Kothi Kohad, and Bir.
